Ski boots - The staff member who helped me, Erik, is very knowledgeable about ski gear. He sized my foot, knew what questions to ask for comfort, and encouraged me to walk around and spend some time in each of the boots to ensure they would be comfortable to wear all day on the slopes.
I came in to grab a seasonal rental for my son. The guys helping us were clearly knowledgeable. One guy went above and beyond and sized up my toddler (even though we weren’t renting for her) just so she didn’t feel left out. I’ve been going to BlueZone for years and both their Roseville and Truckee locations have always been great.
Best ski boot shopping experience ever! If you are looking for boots, you have to go see Erik. He is so knowledgeable! He took a bunch of measurements of my foot in different places, then was able to make some specific recommendations based on deep knowledge of the brands and their features. Erik had me try on about 5 different pair, and once we found the brand that fit best, he brought out a couple of different sizes, just to be sure we got it right. He didn't hesitate to search in the sale boots, just in case there was a good deal in there! Once we had the right boots identified, Erik encouraged me to wear them as long as possible to be sure they were going to be comfortable all day. He reminded me that Blue Zone guarantees the fit, and I can bring them back for adjustments if I need to. Erik was helpful, friendly, experienced, and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend you go see Erik for ski boots!
