This place is incredible. I've been in here several times, they've always had really knowledgeable staff, super helpful. Great boot fitters. Good prices. Will definitely be back.
I have been very impressed with Gunnar. He is very service oriented, calm, and an excellent ski and boot technician. Since my right foot is slightly smaller than my left, I have struggled with skiing due to the slop in my right boot. He took this up as a challenge, and spent 1/2 hour readjusting the rubber boot insert, and adding cushioning beneath it. Finally I can ski with both boots being tight. Five stars to Gunnar.
Our family and group of firneds (10ppl total) got excellent guidance and help from the Truckee team (Jonah, Nate, etc) to find appropriate equipment for range of skiers from beginner to racing skier. Their knowledge and professionalism was greatly appreciated and reason why we have been relying on them before and will do so when we are back. Rates for regular and performance skis were excellent. Best place for your ski needs.
The manager Nick is a very kind and knowledgeable person. They do a great and incredible job everytime they tune and wax my board. They have a great selection on winter gear and clothes. This is a wonderful store.
